The embossing process uses matched male and female dies to stamp impressions into metal sheets. The pressure applied during this process creates smooth, raised surfaces that are resistant to wear and ideal for both functional and decorative applications.

Embossed tags can be produced with or without additional printing and are well-suited for high-volume production. Once tooling is created, large quantities can be manufactured efficiently while maintaining consistent quality.

A variety of metals can be used, including aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and copper. Depending on the material and application, embossing can be performed on metal thicknesses typically ranging from 0.012” to 0.032”.
